About the Role Senior Systems Engineer responsible for IBM i, AIX, storage, and backup within a CloudFirst Technology Solutions environment. The role focuses on maintaining systems, supporting infrastructure, and monitoring security to ensure high availability and reliability. What You'll Do
- Maintain and administer IBM Power Systems, IBM i, AIX, and related storage/backup solutions
- Support infrastructure with HA configurations (PowerHA, MIMIX, DR)
- Monitor security, perform system health checks, and optimize performance What We're Looking For
- 10+ years supporting IBM Power Systems, IBM i/AIX, storage, backup, and HA solutions
- Strong OS/admin, disaster recovery, scripting, and documentation skills
- Experience with PowerVM, VIOS, NPIV, Live Partition Mobility, and related tooling Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM FlashSystem, SAN Volume Controller, Dell EMC, NetApp, Brocade, Cisco MDS
- Proficiency in KornShell, Bash, Perl, Python, Ansible, ServiceNow, Jira Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100k-$125k per year
