Role Purpose
Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Standards to join our Global Technology & Industry Standards team in our Corning or Painted Post, NY offices. This role includes approximately 25% travel, including some international travel, and may occasionally require flexibility for global meetings across time zones. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
This is a unique, externally facing role focused on industry standards that influence how products are tested, specified, and adopted in the market. Working with global standards organizations, industry groups, customers, third-party organizations, and internal stakeholders, you will help shape requirements, test procedures, interoperability expectations, and industry frameworks across a range of technologies.
