Job title: Sr Software Engineer - WMS Oracle
About the Role We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer - WMS Oracle to support and maintain the AGWMS (Automated Global Warehouse Management System) platform, focusing on production support and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide L2/L3 production support for AGWMS applications, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and daemon processes; coordinate with business users, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
- Develop and fix Oracle PL/SQL code, enhancements for AGWMS custom programs, interfaces, reports, and labels; modify Unix shell scripts and daemon jobs.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and performance improvements; support warehouse operations during critical incidents.
- Provide functional warehouse support: troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, receiving exceptions, order processing problems; collaborate with warehouse supervisors and SMEs.
- Support deployment and release activities; troubleshoot Unix shell scripts and daemon jobs.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience; Oracle database troubleshooting and support.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting; batch job monitoring and incident management.
- 5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development/support; 6+ years of application production support; experience with warehouse, logistics, or supply chain apps.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes: inventory management, inbound/outbound operations, order management, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, RFID etc.
- Ability to bridge technical and operational teams; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have
- Delphi application support experience (preferred but not mandatory).
- SQR reporting and label generation experience.
- Experience with WMS support and ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
