About the Role As a GCP Data Engineer, we need someone with strong experience in SQL and Python. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially BigQuery, Composer, Airflow framework and a solid understanding of data engineering best practices. You will work closely with our internal teams and technology partners to deliver comprehensive and scalable marketing data and analytics solutions. What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Airflow), GCS, and related infrastructure.
- Develop REST APIs and perform data analysis across complex data sets.
- Utilize SQL (MySQL) and Python; manage source control with Git and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing application & ETL job chains.
- Collaborate across technical development teams and business departments to deliver scalable marketing data solutions.
- Ensure data modeling, quality, governance, and performance in data warehousing contexts. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform and associated tools (BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Composer, Airflow).
- Experience delivering consumer marketing data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases; strong Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools and technologies (Google Analytics, BlueConic, Klaviyo).
- Knowledge of performance marketing concepts (targeting & segmentation, real-time optimization, A/B testing, attribute modeling).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability; experience in Agile environments.
