About the Role Volt is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to design, integrate, and optimize industrial data systems with a focus on SCADA, AVEVA/Wonderware, and OSI PI. You will design, implement, and maintain SCADA solutions across multiple environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems and integrate with multiple industrial data sources
- Work extensively with AVEVA/Wonderware products (System Platform, InTouch, Operations Control, and Predictive Analytics)
- Configure and support OSI PI Historian
- Develop and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or C#
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA/DA, DNP3, TCP/IP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions and improve system efficiency
- Analyze system performance and resolve technical issues What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform and OSI PI Historian
- Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture, integration, and industrial data systems
- Experience with industrial networking concepts, architectures, topologies, and hardware
- Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Visual Basic, C#, or Python
- Familiarity with real-time data systems and industrial automation environments Nice to Have
- Expertise in industrial communication protocols and data integration
- Experience in predictive analytics and process optimization tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex technical environments Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
