Sr. ServiceNow Admin and Sr. Developer

Job title: Sr. ServiceNow Admin and Sr. Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day platform maintenance, upgrades, and configuration of ServiceNow.
• Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions across the platform.
• Design and develop custom applications, data models, workflows, and catalog items.
• Lead implementation of modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalogs.
• Build UI Pages, Service Portal widgets, and dashboards to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and develop tailored ServiceNow solutions.
• Integrate external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, and third-party tools.
• Program in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and AJAX for platform customization.
• Configure Flow Designer, Workflows, Notifications, and Import Sets for complex business logic.
• Perform data migrations and model changes for custom ServiceNow applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous platform enhancements.
• Participate in agile development cycles, including planning, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of total experience and 10+ years in ServiceNow development/administration.

• Strong understanding of networking, web protocols, and system integration via REST/SOAP.

• Expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, Performance Analytics, SecOps, and CMDB.

• Proficiency in scripting languages and ServiceNow APIs.

• Experience in testing (manual/automated), debugging, and optimizing ServiceNow applications.

• Familiarity with Agile development environments and DevOps integration.

• Desired Skills

• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification or Implementation Specialist Certification.

• Experience with advanced modules like Virtual Agent, Orchestration, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

• Cloud development background and experience in dynamic IT operations.

• Agile certification (Scrum Master) and experience leading agile teams.
