About the Role
A Senior Security Data Engineer focusing on Vulnerability Risk Management to build and operate data-driven security analytics, enabling proactive vulnerability risk remediation across Moderna's environments.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines ingesting vulnerability data from multiple security tools and sources.
- Develop dashboards and reports to drive risk-based decision making for security teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and IT teams to improve vulnerability management processes and data quality.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and scalable security data platforms.
- What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in data engineering (ETL/ELT), SQL, data modeling, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts and security data sources.
- Proficiency with Python, Spark, or similar, and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate data-driven insights.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; certifications welcome.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,800.00 - $209,400.00 per year (USD).
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to plan eligibility and performance.
