About the Role CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Developer in Test for our Cloud Detections Platform team, tasked with building the next generation detection platform. In this role, you will develop and operate the team's CI/CD pipeline, ensure our solutions work reliably, and raise alarms when they fail. You’ll build an end-to-end validation pipeline largely from scratch to validate the platform, based in London with hybrid work.
What You'll Do
- Develop and operate the team's CI/CD pipeline for the Cloud Detections Platform.
- Build out and maintain an end-to-end validation pipeline largely from scratch.
- Verify solution quality and reliability, and raise alerts when issues arise.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve testability, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to team direction and mentor junior developers in a high-trust, flexible environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Software Developer in Test (SDET) or QA automation engineer, with a track record in building automated tests and validating complex systems.
- Strong automation skills and experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building end-to-end validation pipelines for cloud-based, distributed platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous, and collaborative environment with excellent communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience with security detection platforms or large-scale distributed systems (preferred but not required).
