About the Role Solventum is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead cross-functional, often global projects with significant business impact. You will help deliver on the company’s mission to enable better, smarter, safer healthcare by blending technology, data, and compassionate leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional, often global, project teams to successfully deliver medium-to-large projects with moderate business impact, typically at the department or division level.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently (6–12 months) with 5–10 team members.
• Partner with Program Managers, business leaders, stakeholders, and project team members to define scope, develop detailed project plans, and establish Work Breakdown Structures using established or defined methodologies (e.g., migrations, product and device lifecycle, site resiliency).
• Facilitate project planning sessions, provide recommendations on timelines, resourcing, risks, and dependencies.
• Define and execute stakeholder communication plans to ensure alignment, transparency, and sustained support.
• Leverage global and regional resources to ensure on-time delivery of milestones and outcomes.
• Develop project budget forecasts, manage and control approved budgets, and oversee vendor engagements including payments where applicable.
• Demonstrate Project Leadership Excellence by championing the consistent application of PM processes, standards, and tools; mentor and build capability across teams.
• Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions on project management methodologies, tools, and governance to both exempt and non-exempt employees across disciplines.
• Provide hands-on guidance to team members as needed to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Maintain high-quality project documentation including status reports, dashboards, presentations, and post-project reviews.
• Represent the organization in internal or external project management forums or communities of practice.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 8-12 years of project leadership experience.
• PMP Certification (active).
• 3-4 years of concurrent Sr. Project Leadership or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
• Agile Certification (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification or equivalent (ASQ or IASSC).
