About this role

About the Role Join AWS Strategic Accounts as a Sr. Program Manager to partner with senior account leadership, designing governance and operating rhythms that enable cross-functional teams to deliver measurable customer outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution — ensuring the right work gets done, at the right time, with the right visibility and accountability. What You'll Do

  • Establish, own, and continuously improve account and district-specific business cadences, reporting cycles, calendars, and governance that drive accountability and decision-making.
  • Own the infrastructure for account team productivity, including tracking systems, knowledge bases, internal sites, automation workflows, technology migrations, and permissions management; drive AI tool adoption and scale best practices across the district.
  • Design and manage onboarding and enablement programs for account teams, including end-to-end onboarding/offboarding and coordination with technical and sales readiness teams.
  • Build and manage high-impact strategic programs and events; apply disciplined governance with charters, defined success criteria, stage-gate reviews, and escalation paths to deliver measurable business outcomes. What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Strong autonomous, strategic-level program management capabilities; excellent organizational and communication skills; track record of driving operational outcomes in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, influence without authority, and create leverage for the leaders you support. Nice to Have
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
  • Knowledge of general AI tools.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions.
