Objective
The Sr. Program Manager in Sheboygan WI is responsible for launching all new programs, engineering changes, process changes, coordinating projects with other functional departments, simultaneous engineering with customers, customer engineering approvals, manufacturing and product engineering services assuring a profitable, cost effective and timely service to the customers and the Nemak operating plant. This position is responsible to oversee all programs within the structural engineering group.
Main Responsibilities
- Supports preparation of formal quotes for new and revised programs to develop tooling and capital budgets. Responsible to complete CR’s, purchase requisition, invoice approval, tooling Completion Notices.
- Directs the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Nemak Program Development System (NPDS) to ensure timely and successful launch of all new programs meeting or exceeding the customer expectations. Leads and approves manufacturing feasibility analysis reviews. Defines critical product/process variables and develops capability requirements/specification and run-off criteria for all programs.
