About the Role Senior Program Manager for Lastmile Planning at AMXL JP, responsible for owning mid-to-long-term last mile network planning and execution to optimize productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across Japan. This role partners with business, technical, and operations teams to build scalable last mile strategies that support AMXL JP expansion. What You'll Do
- Own mid-to-long-term last mile network planning for AMXL JP, developing roadmaps that balance productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize network topology, capacity allocation, and delivery infrastructure across Japan
- Build and maintain a cost-effective, operationally friendly network through continuous analysis and optimization
- Establish plan-versus-actual tracking to monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
- Champion implementation of advanced planning tools and systems that enhance forecasting accuracy and decision-making
- Improve planning capabilities by introducing new methodologies, automation, and data-driven approaches
- Serve as single-threaded owner for all last mile planning decisions and execution activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with organizational objectives and present recommendations to senior leadership What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Business strategy or Non-Tech Program Management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written Nice to Have
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
