About the Role Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic logistics and technology solutions? Central Operations (Ops) JP is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong record of achieving results, to own and execute strategic initiatives for Central Ops Systems Management (COSM). COSM team is dedicated to improving Delivery Station (DS) and Delivery Service Provider (DSP) performances through back end systems configurations, ensuring smooth DS operations and optimal route planning. Our configurations encompass settings for all existing Amazon DS such as Large DS, Exchange Points (XPT), Mini DS, 3PL (AMPL), Sub Same Day (SSD), Amazon Logistics Extra Large (AMXL), and Quick Commerce. What You'll Do
- Define and translate business requirements into project plans, manage implementation activities across a large group of stakeholders
- Develop and execute rollout plans and provide ongoing support
- Create execution strategy, setting priorities and communicating across business partners and stakeholders
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure we implement the business vision and operational goals efficiently
- Scale services, tools, and processes that will enable network growth in volume, complexity, and geographic expansion while still maintaining the highest bar for the customer experience
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward
- Collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and process excellence; identifying where we have gaps or redundancies; influencing leadership to streamline solutions and define mutually beneficial goals
- Coordinate with team across various regions and geographies to understand, learn and implement and execute as per the Japan Market
- This position will be hiring, managing, and developing a small team of logistics specialists that will support both operations and program building. What We're Looking For
- Proven program management experience in logistics/operations with a track record of delivering results
- Strong ability to define business requirements and translate into actionable project plans; manage schedules and milestones
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with stakeholders across regions and senior levels
- Data-driven decision making; experience leading pilots/tests and refining SOPs for scale
- Ability to identify risks, drive issue resolution, and escalate when needed; make trade-offs to keep initiatives moving forward
- Leadership capabilities; experience hiring, managing, and developing a small team of specialists
- Knowledge of delivery operations, routing, network optimization, planning, and last-mile operations (AMZL or similar) Nice to Have
