Sr. Program Manager, CapEx Real Estate Projects, EMEA

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager – Capital Projects to lead strategically important capital investments from initial business requirements through design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

As Vertiv’s senior owner representative, you will work closely with business leaders, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Real Estate, and external project partners to ensure projects are delivered safely and successfully against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex capital projects and multi-project programs through the full project lifecycle.

• Develop project strategies, scope, objectives, governance, milestones, and success criteria.

• Manage and challenge third-party project management, engineering, design, construction, cost, and scheduling partners.

• Maintain oversight of budgets, forecasts, contingencies, schedules, risks, and change control.

• Partner with Finance and Procurement on capital controls, sourcing strategies, contracts, and commercial decisions.

• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation and recovery strategies.

• Provide clear project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Coordinate cross-functional and geographically diverse stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement and consistent capital project management practices across Vertiv.

• What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

• 10+ years of progressive capital project or program management experience.

• Proven experience delivering significant and complex construction or capital investment programs.

• Strong knowledge of project controls, cost management, scheduling, procurement, contracting, risk, and change management.

• Experience managing external project management, engineering, design, and construction partners.

• Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills, and executive-level communication.

• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders and travel based on project requirements (approx.25%)

• The anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between 106 000€ to 133 000€ gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

• This role may be performed in multiple jurisdictions. In jurisdictions subject to EU Pay Transparency requirements, a locally applicable salary range applies and will be communicated in accordance with local legal obligations, if not shown in this posting. Salary ranges for other jurisdictions may vary in line with local market conditions and applicable legislation.
