You are more than just your resume; you are a reflection of your achievements, the knowledge you've gained, and the personal interests that shape who you are.

Position Overview

The Senior Product Strategy Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for identifying, evaluating, and shaping strategic business opportunities that drive enterprise growth, competitive differentiation, and long-term value creation. Rather than owning a single product or platform, this role is aligned to the organization's highest-priority strategic product initiatives and is responsible for determining what the business should build, and just as importantly, what it should not pursue.

This role serves as the strategic front end of the product lifecycle, partnering across Product Delivery, Technology, Finance, Analytics & Insights, Sales, Client Management, Operational Excellence, and executive leadership to transform market opportunities into scalable business capabilities. Leveraging client insights, competitive intelligence, financial analysis, technology innovation, and business strategy, the Senior Manager develops strategic recommendations, validates solution concepts, assesses business value, and determines whether opportunities warrant investment before progressing through formal business case approval and portfolio prioritization.

As Pricing Solutions transforms into an automation-led, AI-enabled, integrated pricing and network solutions organization, this role will help shape the future product portfolio by evolving pricing and monetization strategies, identifying AI and automation opportunities, influencing platform strategy, accelerating commercialization, and ensuring investments align with long-term enterprise strategy and financial objectives.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Opportunity Identification & Evaluation

  • Identify emerging business opportunities through market trends, competitive intelligence, client insights, regulatory changes, and enterprise strategy.

  • Evaluate opportunities based on strategic alignment, client value, financial impact, scalability, competitive differentiation, and technical feasibility.

  • Determine whether opportunities should advance, pivot, or stop prior to formal business case development and investment prioritization.

  • Recommend portfolio investments that maximize long-term business value and competitive advantage.

  • Product Strategy & Portfolio Development

  • Develop long-term product and capability strategies aligned to enterprise growth objectives.

  • Define product vision, value propositions, strategic priorities, and capability evolution across Pricing Solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to evolve existing products, reposition offerings, expand into adjacent markets, and retire low-value capabilities.

  • Shape pricing, monetization, and commercialization strategies that support sustainable revenue growth and margin expansion.

  • Client, Market & Competitive Leadership

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand evolving client needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.

  • Translate client feedback, market intelligence, and business insights into strategic product recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market differentiation and improve client value.

  • Technology & Innovation Strategy

  • Partner with Technology early in the ideation process to evaluate scalable technology solutions, platform capabilities, AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

  • Influence platform strategy by identifying opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and capability expansion.

  • Drive innovation initiatives that improve scalability, automation, client outcomes, and operational efficiency.

  • Financial Strategy & Business Value Assessment

  • Partner with Finance to evaluate business cases, investment scenarios, pricing strategies, ROI, margin opportunities, and cost-to-serve improvements.

  • Ensure strategic recommendations are supported by financial analysis and measurable business outcomes.

  • Recommend investment priorities that align with enterprise growth, profitability, and strategic objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives through influence without direct authority.

  • Facilitate alignment across Product Delivery, Technology, Operational Excellence, Finance, Analytics & Insights, Sales, Client Management, and executive leadership.

  • Present strategic recommendations, trade-offs, business cases, and investment options to senior leadership.

  • Business Performance & Portfolio Optimization

  • Monitor market performance, adoption, client outcomes, and strategic initiatives to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Assess product portfolio performance and recommend investments, enhancements, or retirement decisions.

  • Support enterprise KPIs related to innovation, growth, commercialization, profitability, and strategic execution.

  • Other key duties as assigned.

  • Travel ~ 20 – 25%.

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Strategy, Product Management, Healthcare Strategy, Management Consulting, Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, or related strategic roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required or commensurate experience; Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience evaluating business opportunities, developing product strategies, and influencing enterprise investment decisions.

  • Experience working within healthcare payer, healthcare technology, provider network, reimbursement, or healthcare services organizations preferred.

  • Experience partnering in highly matrixed organizations.

  • Experience developing business cases, strategic recommendations, financial analyses, and executive-level presentations.

  • Please note at this time we are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Location and Workplace Flexibility
