Job title: Sr. Product Manager, Databricks Repos
About the Role Lead the vision and roadmap for Databricks Repos, the source control and workflow foundation used by data engineers, ML engineers, and analysts. You will shape how developers author, review, and ship code within Databricks, integrating Git providers and enabling production deployments across notebooks, SQL, Python, and Lakeflow.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end path to production for data and AI teams, from authoring to Git integration to CI/CD.
- Define how Repos integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps to support branching, pull requests, reviews, conflict resolution, and deployment workflows.
- Partner with engineers to build AI-assisted code management features such as automated code suggestions, recommended diffs, merge help, and deployment validation.
- Represent the voice of the customer and translate user feedback into workflow improvements that simplify source control and release management.
- Improve developer productivity and reliability by aligning Repos with Databricks Workflows, Lakeflow, and deployment surfaces.
- Help grow adoption of Databricks developer tools by collaborating with solutions architects, customer success teams, and enterprise platform owners.
- Grow end-user engagement with Databricks developer tools working closely with sales and customer success teams.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on platform products.
- Experience building developer-facing products (tools, frameworks, SDKs) with tens or hundreds of thousands of users.
- Hands-on builder, comfortable using our own developer-facing products.
- Passion for designing products that simplify the user experience of technically complex products.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 148,800—204,525 per year (Zone 2).
