About the Role Databricks Free Edition team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Free Edition learning experience. You will partner across design, engineering, and education to make learning data and AI engaging, accessible, and impactful.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and designers to create learning experiences within Databricks for the Free Edition.
- Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Databricks Free Edition; ensure features have the right UX and guardrails.
- Partner with design, engineering, and education teams to deliver hands-on learning journeys within Databricks.
- Work with academic and learning program partners to advance data and AI education through Databricks.
- Coordinate with other product teams to roll out new features with proper UX and guardrails.
- Engage directly with learners to understand goals, identify friction, and translate insights into product improvements.
- Define and track success metrics for learning engagement and user outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in data, AI, or developer-focused platforms.
- Strong customer empathy and passion for creating learning and onboarding experiences that empower users.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to articulate vision, motivate teams, and simplify complex concepts.
- Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineering on data and platform capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Zone 1 Pay Range $156,600—$215,250 USD
- Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits listed above.
