About the Role
Databricks is looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Compute Platform to define and drive the product roadmap that powers the data and AI infrastructure customers rely on. This role partners with engineering, design, and customers to shape a scalable platform that enables data teams to solve complex problems. The Compute Platform team focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and user-friendly data tooling at scale.
What You'll Do
- Define product strategy and roadmap for the Compute Platform, aligning with company goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customers to gather feedback and translate it into clear requirements.
- Define success metrics, monitor product health, and drive iterative improvements; lead go-to-market planning with stakeholders.
- Communicate vision and progress to executives and cross-functional partners; influence prioritization and delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or AI tooling.
- Proven ability to translate customer problems into excellent product requirements and drive execution.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data processing, compute platforms, or ML workloads is a plus.
