About the Role Databricks is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for the Compute Platform to define and drive the roadmap for the data and AI infrastructure that powers scalable analytics and ML workloads. You will partner with engineering, design, and data teams to translate customer problems into innovative compute solutions that scale across millions of virtual instances. This role combines product leadership with technical depth to enable customers to extract insights and build AI-powered applications.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for the Compute Platform.
- Partner with engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams to deliver compute capabilities at scale.
- Prioritize features and translate customer needs into actionable requirements for the platform.
- Measure success with analytics and user feedback to continuously improve the product.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience in software or platform products, with a track record shipping enterprise-grade compute or data infrastructure.
- Technical fluency in data processing, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership; ability to influence across teams.
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and drive alignment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, ML platforms, or data engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack.
