Job title: Sr Product Development and Sustaining Engineer
About the Role Skyworks Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead development and sustaining activities for semiconductor products. The role emphasizes ownership, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to bring products from proto to mass production.
What You'll Do
- Analyze production data using statistical software and review results with product owners.
- Own end-to-end product engineering support from Proto stages through mass production, partnering with USPE and PEM teams.
- Lead ATE test solution transfer and validation, ensuring cross-site correlation and production readiness.
- Drive STR strategy, testing, and disposition starting EVT, including Maverick process ownership.
- Lead yield improvement and low-yield resolution through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Act as primary interface for QA/ORT data review, including pass/fail assessment and drift analysis.
- Lead customer reporting (ATE/RAW data), ensuring data integrity, clarity, and alignment with US teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (TE, operations, maintenance, design, reliability) to resolve technical issues.
- Oversee key engineering activities including wafer documentation, sample shipments, and RMA/T0 data analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in semiconductor industry, or 3 years with MS degree.
- 90% conversational English proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Proven ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Experience with product development and sustaining engineering activities.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
