About this role
Databricks is seeking a Sr. Product Designer focused on AI/BI experiences to help make advanced analytics, generative AI, and business intelligence intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable for both technical and non-technical users. As a Product Designer focused on AI/BI experiences, you’ll design how humans and AI think together and define what it feels like to ask a question of data.
What You'll Do
- Design AI/BI experiences, dashboards, workflows, and interfaces that empower users to interact with data and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with product, research, and engineering to shape the user experience of generative AI and BI tools.
- Define human-AI interaction models and advocate for trustworthy, actionable analytics.
- Help translate complex data questions into intuitive UX that supports both technical and non-technical users.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a product designer with a focus on AI/BI or data analytics.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and designing for complex data workflows.
- Ability to design intuitive, trustworthy interfaces for technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with analytics dashboards, BI, or data visualization.
- Familiarity with generative AI UI patterns.
