Job Description

A strategic sourcing buyer negotiates midsize value contracts, complex requirements and coordinates meetings with internal clients to meet objectives while achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness and productivity savings

Responsibilities

• Drive SBG strategic plan with supporting strategies to achieve productivity/cost savings.
• Align with Commodity Strategies including spend site analysis, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends
• Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships
• Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories, etc.
• Inventory and Lead time reductions
• Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive experience in procurement and project management

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.

• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
