Job title: Sr. Process & Product Engineer (MLV)
About the Role The Senior Process & Product Engineer (MLV) will be responsible for transfer molding and injection process development and qualification, and for driving process improvements to reduce scrap, improve yield, quality, capacity and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead transfer molding and injection molding process development and qualification.
- Improve and optimize molding/injection processes; reduce scrap rate; improve yield, quality, capacity and efficiency.
- Define process flow charts and control plans, and create/process quality documentation.
- Identify critical process nodes and develop control monitors at each node; apply Six Sigma tools such as PFMEA, DOE, SPC.
- Provide product/process support for New Product Development.
- Support Quality to achieve product-series quality targets.
- Provide process/technical training to operators and technicians.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in injection or transfer molding.
- Familiar with SPC and AutoCAD.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic problem-solving abilities; good process trouble-shooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to participate in a teamwork-driven environment.
- Solid knowledge of Six Sigma tools (SPC, FMEA, DOE, Gage R&R, PFMEA).
- Proficiency in English; good presentation and communication skills.
