POSITION: Sr. Pricing Analyst
WORKSITE: 7900 Windrose Avenue, Plano, TX 75024
JOB DUTIES: Prepare pricing strategies by leveraging data-driven insights and advanced analytics to optimize sales and margin performance. Evaluate pricing strategy, analyze market conditions and competitive data, and refine implementation processes to drive sales and margin impact. Conduct in-depth pricing analysis using data analysis, financial modeling, and competitive insights to refine pricing strategies that drive sales and margin growth. Use NB testing, price elasticity models, and historical data to recommend and implement pricing strategies for various categories and regions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, design automated reporting tools, and provide leadership actionable insights through data analysis to enable strategic decision-making. Analyze competitive pricing data and market conditions, recommending adjustments to stay ahead of industry trends. Develop and optimize clearance pricing strategies, using historical performance data and market conditions. Develop automated reporting tools to track key pricing metrics (e-commerce vs in-store) and ensure timely decision-making. Lead and support cross-functional projects, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve pricing processes, tools, and strategies.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a closely related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as pricing analytics, data analytics, operations analytics, data engineer or a closely related occupation. In the alternative, a master’s degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a closely related field and three years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as pricing analytics, data analytics, operations analytics, data engineer or closely related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The experience must include: three years of experience writing SQL and Python/Alteryx to develop ETL scripts conduct data analytics; three years of experience with Tableau or Power BI to create data visualizations and generate actionable insights; three years of experience with statistical analysis including A/B testing, pricing elasticity, regression analysis, financial modeling and forecasting; and two years of experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams.
Telecommuting up to 3 days per week. Must live within commuting distance from office.
Salary: $146,515.00 / year Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week
