About the Role

As the Sr. Power Generation Project Engineering Manager, you will lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians across design services and EPC programs to deliver complex power generation projects. You will oversee design quality, budgets, schedules, and client interactions, while supporting proposals and business development. This role combines technical leadership with strategic delivery across a portfolio of projects. What You'll Do

  • Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians across design services and EPC programs, coordinating activities and serving as the responsible charge for projects.

  • Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects; conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations; manage data and perform engineering calculations.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.

  • Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule; establish workplans and supervise larger production teams.

  • Identify key client interests and drivers; communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions; support business development and pursuit activities; manage project changes directly with the client under the Project Manager supervision.

  • Provide technical leadership for complex Power Generation projects and drive solutions to achieve project goals.

  • Review lower-level engineering work and manage personnel hiring, discipline, and pay administration of subordinates. What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.

  • Minimum of 11 years related work experience.

  • P.E. license highly preferred.

  • Experience managing EPC or design services for simple cycle and combined cycle gas turbine projects in the United States.

  • Strong understanding of the overall project lifecycle in power generation facilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients to grow relationships.

  • Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.

  • Working knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.

  • Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates.

  • Certifications: professional registration/licensure in home country or active pursuit of such registration; may be needed when practicing in another country. Nice to Have
