About the Role Join Fresh Consulting’s Hardware Engineering team as a Sr. PCB Design Engineer. You will design schematic and multi-layer PCBs, create fabrication and assembly documentation, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality hardware in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
- Work with the Hardware Engineering team to provide schematic and PCB board designs.
- Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages.
- Design layouts for multi-layer PCBs containing analog, digital, RF, and power components.
- Liaise with PCB vendors to select materials, stack-ups, impedance specifications, DFX rulesets, assembly requirements, and resolve manufacturing related issues.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines in a team environment. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of PCB Design experience using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
- Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, and other electronic standards.
- Experience in creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints in libraries.
- Experience interpreting datasheets and schematics to generate netlists and proper constraints in the layout design.
- Experience in designing multiple PCB types: HDI Design Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex Design.
- Experience in Wire Bonding Design.
- Aluminum Backed Design.
- Experience in designing high speed differential circuits, power circuits, analog and RF circuits.
- Experience in PCB layout design constraints for mixed/RF signal, impedance control, memory interfaces, power distribution, heat dissipation, and EMI performance. Nice to Have
- 7+ years’ experience of PCB layout design using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
- Experience with Altium Concord Pro or similar library management systems.
- Proven track record to design & manage all aspects of the printed board design. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70/hr to $80/hr
