About the Role A Senior Operations Manager for Manufacturing responsible for ensuring profitability and performance of manufacturing operations through safe, efficient execution focused on quality, delivery and cost control.
What You'll Do
- Execute the strategic plan and ensure achievement of operational objectives across the plant.
- Manage production plans, budgets and plant results.
- Coordinate production and support areas to guarantee resources and operational continuity.
- Monitor SQDCE indicators and drive continuous improvement programs.
- Maximize productivity, efficiency and asset utilization.
- Lead labor relations and personnel development.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental systems.
- Promote a culture of safety, order, operational discipline and risk prevention.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Administration (degree).
- Experience: 5 years in metalworking industry as Plant Manager or equivalent.
- Languages: Fluent English.
- Competencies: Leadership and team management; Strategic planning and results orientation; Decision making and problem solving; Influence, negotiation and collaborative work.
- Knowledge: Lean Manufacturing and TPM; Production planning and control; Plant finance and budget control; Personnel administration; Advanced manufacturing systems; Safety, quality and environmental regulations.
