About the Role As Sr. Program Manager for Amazon Hub Delivery in Japan, you will drive program insights, standardization, and capacity/volume planning across a matrixed international team to enable a fast-growing last-mile delivery network. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on common practices, policies, and prioritization, while bridging local field teams and global program leadership. What You'll Do
- Lead volume and capacity planning for Hub Delivery partners, including long-range and short-term forecasting in line with operation planning cadences.
- Maintain high compliance with network standards such as ADV (Average Daily Volume), Delivery Radius, and Working Days for all Hub Delivery partners.
- Analyze data, perform deep dives, build strategy, and drive execution with multiple functions; prepare concise documentation and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with field team managers and AMZL planning managers to run weekly volume planning and reflect new partner launches in planning cycles; align with hub and program teams.
- Act as a bridge to local operational POCs to enable momentum for business growth and development; navigate language and cultural differences in a bilingual environment (Japanese and English). What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivots, lookups).
- Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form. Nice to Have
- Master's degree, or MBA.
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Fluency in Japanese at business level or above (N1+).
- 4+ years of procurement, program management, and supplier diversity & inclusion experience. Compensation & Benefits
