Our client, an early-stage HealthTech startup, is hiring a Full Stack Product Engineer to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will build AI-powered products that support hundreds of thousands of clinical encounters every week, helping treatment providers reduce administrative burden, improve insurance authorizations, and deliver meaningful real-world impact for patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-powered product features that support healthcare providers in their daily workflows.
• Develop scalable, end-to-end applications using TypeScript, React and modern cloud technologies.
• Create intelligent AI agents and automated workflows powered by large language models.
• Take ownership of projects from initial discovery and design through to development, deployment and optimization.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate insights into impactful product improvements.
• Partner with engineering, product and leadership teams to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Help shape technical architecture, engineering practices and development standards as the company grows.
• Enhance platform performance, reliability and scalability to support increasing customer demand.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions and the continued evolution of the engineering culture.
• Build and maintain high-quality software through robust testing and efficient CI/CD processes.

Skillset:

• Minimum of two years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience building modern web applications.
• Good understanding of SQL, relational databases and effective data modelling principles.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications using large language models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI integration techniques.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, system architecture and scalable application design.
• Proven ability to deliver and maintain production-grade software in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
