Job Description

As a Sr Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring the efficient production of high-quality aerospace components. You will operate different types of machines, with the main one being Selective Solder, and flex and build circuit card assemblies. You will play a critical role in assembling and testing precision electronic components. You will ensure that all assemblies meet the highest quality standards and adhere to strict specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and performance of our products.

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring that all electronic assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and you’ll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a onsite work schedule.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform complex manufacturing tasks and provide technical support to production teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with aerospace regulations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes and improvements
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance team capabilities

Qualifications

  • YOU MUST HAVE

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within aerospace or related industries

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment used in aerospace production

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality

  • Experience with quality control systems and compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100

  • Familiarity with manufacturing software tools and data analysis to support process improvements

  • WE VALUE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or high-precision manufacturing environments

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence

  • Ability to mentor and train less experienced technicians
