Summary The Sr Manager, SIOP will have oversight of the end-to-end SIOP process for the assigned BUs. This role will primarily oversee Carrier Electronics and Carlyle Compressors demand and supply planning processes and provide strategic direction to continuously enhance the planning process and capabilities.
Job Description
- Collaborate with Business Leaders to develop an 18-month+ consensus demand and supply plan for assigned Business Unit through the monthly SIOP cycle.
- Collaborate with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals. Ensure alignment between revenue and supply plans.
- Lead the SIOP process, prepare reviews, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare and present escalations for executive review where appropriate.
- Manage a demand team that partners with stakeholders globally to capture demand plan inputs and ensures adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance the supply and demand planning process and capabilities.
- Understand drivers and recommend options to recover gaps in revenue, metric misses such as OTD, and impacts on the downstream processes.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand and Supply Plan assumptions.
- Implements plans and prepares data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
- Responsible for the implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
- Executes continuous management for the master schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations (S&OP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Working knowledge of S&OE, IBP and S&OP with implementation experience
- MBA or master's degree in business or equivalent
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with both internal and contract manufacturing.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Kinaxis and PowerPoint
Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between 117,500.00 - 234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other Compensation This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
