Job title: Sr. Manager, Partner Solutions Architect

About the Role The Sr. Manager, Partner Solutions Architect will lead a team of Partner Solution Architects and help mature Databricks' consulting and SI partner development function. You will provide technical guidance for practices at our consulting partners that span pre-sales teams and their data analytics delivery organizations. Your experience and influence will accelerate customer success and Databricks DBU consumption through a global partner ecosystem, and you will guide your team to communicate complex, outcome-based results that deliver joint customer value.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of Partner Solutions Architects in a high-growth environment.
  • Drive partner enablement by shaping a comprehensive technical point of view to establish lakehouse architectures across customers.
  • Identify high-impact business offers and guide the adoption of the Databricks platform in partner solutions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships across the business to ensure partner and customer success.
  • Build a collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team that embodies Databricks values.
  • Drive customer success and DBU consumption through consulting partners and cross-functional collaboration with Specialist, Professional Services, and Product teams.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of consulting services business needs, revenue potential, escalation management, and project-portfolio management as it relates to enterprise data transformation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience hiring and managing field or technical teams from scratch at hyper-growth speed.
  • 8+ years in senior pre-sales or post-sales roles with a track record building successful teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS.
  • Player/Coach capability: comfortable leading or contributing to projects with partners on joint customers.
  • Passion for data-driven decisions, AI, and cloud software models.
  • Strong ability to institute processes for technical field members to promote efficiency.
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM; MSc desirable.
  • Technical background in Data Engineering / Database technologies or Data Science.
