Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

About the Role Stratolaunch is seeking a Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to direct SEC filings and ensure the accuracy of data presented. The incumbent will oversee preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and schedules included in the earnings releases, and direct accounting research and compliance issues related to the filings. This role will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. What You'll Do

• Direct preparation and filing of annual and quarterly SEC reports, forms, and related correspondence.
• Oversee the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and schedules included in earnings releases.
• Lead accounting research and resolve technical accounting and compliance issues related to SEC filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, investor relations) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of disclosures.
• Provide guidance on GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements; ensure controls and documentation are in place.
• Report to Chief Accounting Officer; help shape financial reporting policy and processes. What We're Looking For
• Experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, especially SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement presentation, and disclosure requirements.
• Proven track record in leading accounting teams and coordinating with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, engineering/tech environment. Nice to Have
• Prior experience in aerospace/defense or government contracting; experience with complex revenue recognition; experience with 10-K/10-Q etc.
• Experience with external audit coordination and internal controls over financial reporting. Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary and leveling established on a case-by-case basis.
• 9/80 schedule.
