About the Role The Senior Functional Analyst – PaPM identifies and documents client and stakeholder business needs and delivers SAP PaPM solutions in S/4 PaPM. The role combines business analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation to create robust, scalable IT solutions. What You'll Do
- Deliver SAP PaPM solutions to the business, translating business/process requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform configurations and ensure adherence to build standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Process Architects/Design Authorities to develop design specifications for high-complexity solutions.
- Work with Lead Business Analyst/Process Experts to craft design specs for PaPM solutions.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing for applicable solutions.
- Conduct problem analysis to identify root causes, escalate when needed, and minimize recurrence of incidents.
- Drive defect resolution during test cycles and hyper-care, including critical incidents.
- Define and safeguard IT solutions to be robust, supportable, and scalable; ensure documentation is updated prior to CAB meetings.
- Propose functional improvements to existing PaPM solutions.
- Maintain a detailed functional understanding of the PaPM module and its business impact; ensure changes are thoroughly documented and compliant with Group IT standards. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in ECC and S4 HANA FI & Controlling module configuration and understanding of associated business processes.
- Preferably at least 3 years of SAP PaPM, including 1–2 end-to-end implementations, and a proven track record delivering multiple PaPM use cases.
- Strong domain knowledge in Accounting & Cost Accounting.
- Understanding of defining the data models in PaPM, integrations (SAP and non-SAP systems), standard PaPM capabilities, and design of business rules.
- Understanding of Cost and Revenue allocation process design and implementation.
- Good functional knowledge/experience in financial allocation processes.
- Understanding of Direct Tax is an added advantage.
- Experience with SAP BW / SAP HANA / SAP BPC.
- Knowledge of S4 HANA integration with other modules is an advantage.
- Well-versed in PaPM and related processes. Nice to Have
- Experience and knowledge in SAP technology modules like SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BPC.
