About the Role As a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will work with customers to build and productionize solutions to their data and AI challenges using the Databricks platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development. We work cross-functionally to shape long-term strategic priorities and initiatives alongside engineering, product, and developer relations, delivering value with customer empathy.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with customers to design, build, and productionize data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.
- Own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems across data engineering, AI, and application development.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and developer relations to shape long-term strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Deliver value with customer empathy by integrating with client systems, providing training, and addressing technical needs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and deploying customer-facing data and AI solutions using Databricks or similar platforms, with the ability to productionize solutions.
- Strong architecture ownership and design leadership across data engineering, AI, and application development.
- Ability to collaborate across teams including engineering, product, and developer relations.
- Customer-facing experience with the ability to integrate with client systems and training.
