About the Role As a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will work with customers to build and productionize solutions to their data & AI challenges using the Databricks platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development. We work cross-functionally to shape long-term strategic priorities and initiatives alongside engineering, product, and developer relations.
What You'll Do
- Build and productionize data & AI solutions on the Databricks platform in collaboration with customers.
- Own the architecture, lead design decisions, and guide end-to-end system implementation across data engineering, AI, and application development.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and developer relations to shape long-term priorities and initiatives.
- Deliver with customer empathy by integrating with client systems, providing training, and addressing technical needs.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or similar customer-facing engineering role.
- Ability to own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end data/AI solutions on Databricks.
- Experience spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.
- Strong collaboration across engineering, product, and developer relations.
- Customer-facing experience with integration, training, and technical support.
- Familiarity with the Databricks platform is a plus.
