Job title: Sr. Executive Assistant

About the Role Databricks is seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role partners with the COO to operationalize strategic initiatives, manage complex scheduling, and drive cross-functional collaboration across departments such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, People, and Product. The role also oversees planning and execution of strategic events and travel for the team.

What You'll Do

  • Calendar Management: organize all meetings (team, customer engagements, internal discussions) across international time zones with high-intent agendas and AI-generated pre-reads/summaries.
  • Global Travel Planning: coordinate complex global travel for the COO (travel at least once per month); use AI tools to research efficiencies, automate expenses, perform sentiment analysis on account data prior to customer meetings, and identify high-value meetings with account teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: act as a high-grit liaison between the COO and senior leadership; track dozens of concurrent workstreams across Engineering and Go-To-Market; ensure no broken threads in communication.
  • Event Management: plan offsites, events, and programs in support of the COO and team.
  • Administrative Support: provide coverage for other executive staff during absences; assist in preparing expense reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of executive administrative and/or program management experience supporting C-Suite executives in global software or technology organizations.
  • Proven expertise in managing global travel logistics for executives.
  • Experience working with VPs/SVPs overseeing large teams (2,000+ employees) in technical or customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with high-growth environments and hyper-scaling companies.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills; proficiency with Google Calendar and Gmail suite; ability to use AI to assist with travel planning and other tasks; strong relationship management; excellent spoken and written communication; ability to synthesize data into actionable insights; ability to prioritize in a high-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI tools to synthesize data and automate routine administration.
  • Experience performing sentiment analysis on account data prior to customer meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $155,300—$213,500 USD (Zone 1).
  • The total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits listed by the company.
