As a Senior Director Strategic Planning here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywell's strategic initiatives and long-term growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Your strategic thinking, leadership skills, and ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell.

You will report directly to PT China VPGM, and you will work out of Shanghai, China location on on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact comprehensive, encompassing strategic direction, alignment, execution, performance monitoring, risk management, stakeholder engagement, decision support, innovation, communication, budget management, cross-functional collaboration, long-term sustainability, performance improvement, employee development, and competitive advantage. You will play a critical role in ensuring that strategic plans are not only formulated but effectively implemented to drive the organization's success and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive long-term growth
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competitive landscape
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
• Lead and manage strategic planning processes
• Lead and coach team specifically in strategy and business development

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in Strategic Planning, Commercial, Marketing relevant roles, with at least 8 years in a leadership capacity

• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful portfolio strategies

• Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer insights

• Good understanding of Refining & Petrochemical and energy transition related industries

• Combined both in-house & consulting firm experience will be a big plus.
