Major tasks:

1. Maintain high awareness of safety, compliance, quality system (ISO and IMS system) for self and working environment.

2. Develop suitable technical solutions for projects and business acquisition activities under the guidance of Application Development (AD) manager. Contribute to related projects as key member by working together with other functions including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D. Initiating new application development project/activities/ideas together with AD manager with the sense of the business opportunity.

3. Develop and provide product offerings or technical solutions according to customer requirements and industrial standards to sustain or grow business.

4. Deliver results in technical works with high quality, including formulation development, product evaluation, technology feasibility study, competition systems comparison, etc. Properly keep the technical records according to company rule.

5. Provide reliable results with professional analysis and propose countermeasure to AD manager.

6. Prepare & conduct customer events, e.g. training to internal & external customers, seminar, exhibition etc.

7. Visit customers together with other functions or AD manager. Provide follow up actions. Record visit reports if required.

Qualifications

• 1. Master or Bachelor degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar.
• 2. Above 5 years experience in the coatings or adhesives industry / raw materials suppliers, be able to provide proposals for application development and technical solution with initiative mindset
• 3. Sufficient experience in interaction with customers
• 4. Primary project management skill
• 5. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• 6. Proficient English in writing and speaking
