Job Description
Gilead Sciences is seeking a Senior Counsel – HIV Prevention Legal Business Partner to join our team of US Legal Business Partners with a focus on HIV Prevention.
The role is office-based/hybrid, located in Foster City, California, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, HIV Prevention.
The Senior Counsel - HIV Prevention Legal Business Partner is responsible for providing legal support in relation to the development and commercialization of Gilead’s HIV Prevention portfolio and other related investigational assets.

Job Responsibilities
The clients for this role include personnel in Commercial, Medical, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Finance, and Regulatory. The Legal Business Partner team, where this attorney will sit, partners closely with colleagues in Compliance, Privacy, Pricing & Access, Competition Law, Regulatory, Intellectual Property, and other groups to ensure the compliant commercialization of our product.
The Legal Business partner will provide legal guidance and support for US Commercial and Corporate Affairs strategies and tactics related to promotional and educational activities, including engagements with healthcare providers, patients, patient organizations, and other entities, and other applications of healthcare and regulatory compliance in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
The Legal Business Partner will provide legal training to field and home office Gilead personnel and external consultants, and responsibilities include large group public speaking and occasional travel.
This position requires a pr
