About the Role Sr. Contracts Specialist on the contracts team for a federal government R&D organization, supporting the entire program lifecycle from source selection through contract closeout. Leverage negotiation expertise, manage multiple priorities, and work with a wide range of technical and project management staff while applying risk assessments and federal procurement knowledge to streamline acquisitions and maximize client resources. What You'll Do
- Support the full program lifecycle from source selection activities through contract closeout for federal contracts.
- Apply negotiation expertise and risk assessment to streamline the acquisition process.
- Advise internal clients on legal requirements, client specifications, and government regulations to maximize resources.
- Collaborate with technical, program management, and subcontract teams in a team environment. What We're Looking For
- Active and maintained TS/SCI federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) years of experience as a contracts professional in the industry or as a contracting officer in the federal government.
- Intel Community experience with contracts or subcontracts.
- Experience with the procurement lifecycle, from source selection through closeout.
- Experience with Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).
- Experience with federal procurement topics and risk assessments.
