Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position consults with internal leaders in the process of making informed business decisions that improve or sustain the organization's competitive position. This role is responsible for consulting on business requirements, designing and developing reports and dashboards for custom solutions, developing custom curriculum for training courses, analyzing and extracting large amounts of data, managing a solution implementation project, leading large scale initiatives, and serving as a mentor for the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise business partners to identify and document informatics and analytics requirements in order to determine the viability of requests from the business and jointly arrive at an acceptable solution and timeline
- Partner with information technology teams and subject matter experts to understand data quality issues and drive the resolution of discrepancies
- Mentor junior team members on projects requiring greater levels of experience and knowledge; leverage effective consultation skills to define solutions and implement large scale solutions
- Lead the design of new data structures and dimensional models in assigned business areas of the data warehouse
- Develop and lead custom curriculum for training courses on all data analytical tools
- Develop business knowledge and skills to improve business outcomes; advise junior team members and business leaders on new techniques to improve data delivery
- Develop business intelligence and analytics solutions to support business needs, including, but not limited to, custom reporting and advanced analytics
- Develop and lead initiatives to present to senior leadership; provide updates on project progress and challenges
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience and training, and/or military equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence Analysis

AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences

Spark Experience

SQL Server Reporting Services Experience

Big Query Experience

Azure Dev Ops Experience

Other Data Visualization Tools Experience

Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment

Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums

Compensation
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
