About the Role The Sr. Banking Advisor is a senior client-facing role that develops and manages high-value wealth management banking, credit and treasury relationships. The role identifies cross-sell opportunities, negotiates complex financing, and leads strategic initiatives to grow client base and coordinate cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develops new relationships and marketing strategy for specific clients.
  • Manages complex wealth management banking, credit, and treasury relationships; identifies opportunities outside banking in investments and fiduciary.
  • Structure and negotiate complex loan and/or lease agreements per guidelines established by senior bank and business unit management.
  • Analyze and negotiate loan terms (pricing, interest rates, swaps, etc.); oversee documentation for financing agreements.
  • Advise clients on Goals Driven Wealth Management.
  • Generate leads through COIs and cultivate a network of additional COIs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert providing comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
  • Undertake activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
  • Balance operational execution with development and execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
  • Direct interaction with different committees and/or management.
  • Develop, implement, and administer programs within functional areas.
  • Lead others to solve complex problems.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition and financing; knowledge of investments, trust and financial consulting concepts to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Skills in negotiation, leadership and sales; ability to develop the client and prospect relationships and a partner network.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: USD 158,010 - 268,640 per year.
