At Alcon, we help people see brilliantly. As a Sr. Associate, Surgical Field Sales, you will drive sales growth by managing the promotion and sale of Phaco and Vitreoretinal (VitRet) surgical equipment, related consumables, and service solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, from account planning and product demonstrations to contract negotiation and successful handover following installation.
Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for Phaco and VitRet equipment, associated service offerings, and selected consumables.

Develop and execute account plans across assigned customer segments.

Build strong relationships with surgeons, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.

Lead product demonstrations and support customers throughout the evaluation and purchasing process.

Identify new business opportunities and drive competitive conversions through value-based selling.

Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and support commercial discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Service, Market Access, and Product Specialists, to deliver customer solutions.

Analyze customer needs, market dynamics, and competitor activity to optimize commercial execution.

Organize and support local customer education and engagement events.

Maintain accurate reporting and account management activities.

Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales; ophthalmology experience is highly preferred.

Proven success in consultative B2B sales and account management.

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a matrix organization.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business planning capabilities.

General understanding of surgical procedures and healthcare environments is preferred.
