About the Role Amgen is seeking a Sr Associate SAP Architect to architect, design, and implement SAP S/4HANA PP/DS solutions across Amgen's manufacturing sites, focusing on production planning and detailed scheduling to streamline processes and align with business needs and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Architect, design, and implement SAP S/4HANA PP/DS, Production Planning, MRP across all Amgen manufacturing sites.
• Manage SAP S/4 data integrations with external planning systems for supply and demand planning.
• Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Create and maintain functional designs, test cases, and user manuals; ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
• Participate in ERP implementation projects (blueprint, gap analysis, testing, go-live, post-production support).
• Utilize Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
• Leverage deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA MRP and PP/DS with solid understanding of SAP PP-PI, QM, SD and MM modules.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA PP/DS with in-depth knowledge of DP, SNC, and SNP and CIF interfaces.
• Configuration experience in PP/DS alert profile, work area, propagation range, safety profile, Campaign Planning, Setup matrix, Optimization & Tank Planning.
• Experience defining DS planning board profile, Firming, Pegging, Setup times, Campaign Planning, Product view, Product planning table, Detailed scheduling planning and PP/DS optimizer.
• Experience with make-to-stock, make-to-order and planning with final assembly scenarios.
• Proven ability to create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
• Professional Certifications: Production planning with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS; Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred).
• Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams; detail-oriented and compliant.
• Shift: Willingness to work a later/evening shift as required by business needs.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAP IBP, Advanced ATP and Supplier collaboration with Ariba SCCF.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
