Job title: Sr. Associate II, Master Data Governance & Management (Supply Chain Master Data)

About the Role Primary responsibilities consist of conducting Master Data Management (MDM) operations per established global strategy across the Alcon division for assigned Franchise. MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within both SAP system and applicable legacy ERP environments, inclusive of applicable Manufacturing Master Data being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments. The Global Data Steward serves as a primary contact for local Data Stewards for creation, activation and maintenance of SAP material master data utilizing Global Data Management standards.

What You'll Do

• Execute setup and maintenance of new material master setup and change requests in Alcon ERP systems to support manufacturing and supply chain product launch activities, requiring heavy interaction across manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders.
• Perform daily Material Master Maintenance operations across global and local manufacturing and supply chain extensions, including process improvements, business rules development, managing ticketing systems and generation of metrics; ensure GDM Data Dictionary rules are applied.
• Work with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing to address and resolve master data issues in a timely manner.
• Analyze large amounts of data to support ERP data validation/cleansing activities and contribute to governance process enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external controls standards and SOPs (Alcon Finance Controls Management, Profit Margin Reporting standards, and Global Master Data SOP).
• Participate in Global Data Management (GDM) Monthly Data Steward meetings to understand and communicate new processes and standards to local data stewards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Science/Engineering; Masters Degree preferred.
• English fluency essential; knowledge of at least one other language preferred.
• 3 years in Master Data Management; Medical Device industry and SAP Master Data Management experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel, Access and Visio preferred.
• Approximately 3 years developing solutions to complex problems; 2 years interacting with senior internal and external personnel.
• Ability to coordinate across organizations and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree and continued professional development preferred.
• SAP MDM experience and exposure to Medical Device industry preferred.
• Multilingual capabilities and experience in manufacturing environments are a plus.
