About the Role
Senior Associate (AEM Functional Tester) within Amgen's Content Technology group focuses on ensuring a seamless web experience by testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations. This role involves planning, executing, and collaborating across teams to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
What You'll Do
- Develop test plans and test cases aligned with project requirements and AEM functionality.
- Execute functional, regression, and system testing to validate implementations.
- Create and maintain test documentation (scripts, data, reports).
- Collaborate with AEM developers for defect identification and resolution.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability and functionality issues.
- Monitor performance and stability of AEM applications.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to automation efforts.
- Stay updated with AEM features, updates, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Basic Qualifications: Master's degree OR bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in AEM manual testing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Proven QA/testing experience with AEM and similar CMS; Familiarity with AEM components; Strong knowledge of web technologies and CMS; Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect reporting; Experience with test management and defect tracking tools; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages (a plus).
- AEM certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards in web development.
- Strong documentation and communication skills to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.
