In this individual contributor role, the Design Engineer collaborates closely with Industrial Design, Product Engineering, Project Management, Quality, suppliers, and other cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, reliable, and manufacturable products. The role also supports the prevention and resolution of product and manufacturing quality issues throughout development and production.

- Develop concepts into functional prototypes using rapid-prototyping techniques and support testing, design optimization, and readiness for mass production. Integrate AI into new product development as tools mature.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and manage product data in the PLM system throughout development and production, ensuring accurate and efficient information transfer between functions.
- Project, Cross-functional & Continuous Improvement:
- Manage assigned project timelines, engineering deliverables, and priorities. Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Project Management, and other R&D functions to define project scope and support New Product Development, VAVE, and Sustaining projects.
- Identify and share engineering and quality best practices across functions. Support domestic and international manufacturing sites as required, including occasional travel.
- Product Quality:
- Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure product and process quality from development through production.
- Support quality issue resolution by driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
