MUFG is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru (BCIT). The successful candidate will analyze complex business data, identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across multiple departments. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports with actionable recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate business performance against targets.
- Conduct financial, operational, and market analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Automate recurring reports and improve existing analytical processes for efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on analytical methodologies and best practices.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend operational enhancements.
- Support project planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business case development.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

5–8+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).

Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.

Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma, or Microsoft Power BI are a plus.

Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
