About this role

Job title: Sr Analyst, Marketing Operations

About the Role This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, data, and emerging AI, shaping how a leading omni-channel retailer uses automation to drive measurable marketing outcomes. You will partner with Digital Marketing, CRM, and Loyalty teams to turn data into action—building scalable solutions, surfacing insights, and automating marketing workflows. You’ll also pilot and scale agentic workflows to extend the reach of the marketing data team as AI capabilities evolve.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Digital Marketing, CRM, and Loyalty teams to deliver targeting solutions, performance analysis, and workflow automation that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that connect ecommerce, clickstream, CRM, and third-party data sources to marketing use cases.
  • Identify high-ROI opportunities to automate repetitive marketing processes and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Surface actionable insights from complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and scale ReAct agents, Custom GPTs and agentic workflows to support workflows across Marketing Operations.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data engineering, or a related field — ideally supporting a consumer brand or agency.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working in cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Solid grasp of the digital marketing ecosystem — paid media, ad tech, CRM, and how data flows across channels.
  • Experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Power BI).
  • A track record of translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses with clear recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks, including tool use, memory management, task decomposition and routing across multi-step agentic workflows.
  • Experience in retail or e-commerce supporting omni-channel marketing teams preferred.
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI agents in a business context, including building semantic context layers, prompt and output evaluation, knowledge grounding and iterative testing against defined success metrics preferred.
  • Familiarity with Python / R libraries for time series and causal analyses or marketing measurement methodologies preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The expected starting pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000.
  • A generous discount on all WSI brands.
  • A 401(k) plan and other investment opportunities.
  • Paid vacations, holidays, and time off to volunteer.
  • Health benefits, dental and vision insurance, including same-sex domestic partner benefits.
  • Tax-free commuter benefits.
  • A wellness program that supports your physical, financial and emotional health.
  • Continued Learning opportunities through WSI University.
  • Cross-brand and cross-function career opportunities.
  • Resources for self-development, Advisor program, career development workshops, learning programs, and speaker series.
